Manage all your SQL Compact Edition databases from one central location with the new Data Port Console.
Simple to use
Data Port Console has a very simple and intuitive user interface. All your SQL Compact Edition databases are conveniently organized in a tree, grouped by connection type. All objects expose properties that can be viewed and edited on a dedicated pane. You can now view and edit more than one table or query simultaneously due to the tabbed interface.
Database diagrams
Use the database diagrams to visually display the relations between your database tables, create new tables and relations. You can even open the table to display its contents right from the diagram view.
Database support
Data Port Console supports SQL Compact Editions 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 on mobile devices and versions 3.1, 3.5 and 4.0 on the desktop. By using a generic OLE DB data consumer, Data Port Console allows you edit multiple database formats at the same time. Side-by-side SQL Compact installations are fully supported - you can have all SQL Compact versions installed on a mobile device or on a desktop PC and Data Port Console will work with them all!
One editor, multiple databases
Manage all your SQL Compact Edition databases from the same editor. Databases may reside on your desktop computer, on a device connected via ActiveSync or WMDC, or on a remote network location connected via TCP/IP. You can open multiple databases from just one device or from multiple devices. Edit everything in your database: table structure and data, table constraints (PRIMARY KEY, UNIQUE), relationship constraints (FOREIGN KEY) and indexes. You can very easily rename tables and columns without lengthy operations.
Move your data around
With Data Port Console you can now easily import and export your SQL Compact Edition data to a number of format like XML, XLS and MDB .
Very nice post and straight to the point. I don’t know if this is truly the best place to ask but do you people have any idea where to hire some professional writers? Thx
